Horseback Riding:

You’re in the wild west, why not jump on a horse and explore the sage covered hills?! There are a couple different operators in the Bryce Canyon area that lead fantastic tours on some horse-only trails in Bryce Canyon National Park and the surrounding area. We recommend two different companies for riding in and outside the park:

ATV Adventures:

Sometimes it’s more fun to take the driving adventure off-road! Try an ATV adventure that takes you around the most scenic areas around Bryce Canyon. You can take a guided tour or just rent an ATV and grab a trail map and go! There are a couple great companies we recommend:

Star Gazing & Astronomy Programs:

Bryce Canyon is an International Dark Sky Area. It’s ranked as one of the best places to see stars with almost zero light pollution. While great apps can help you navigate the skys, there are also programs by the National Park Service to point out prominent star clusters you may only be able to see in Bryce.

Restaurants, Cafes and Grocers

Outlaw Saloon – Western Bar and Grill – the best place for miles to get a steak or burger! They are located in Hatch, UT, about 20 minutes outside Bryce, but well worth the drive for the saloon feel, saddle-seat bar, and even the ability to cook your own steak on an open flame if you like!

Canyon Diner A basic American food meal. This is a great spot after a day in the park. It’s located right outside the park entrance and serve all the traditional favorites.

Valhalla Pizza – A no frills pizzeria located in the heart of the park at the Bryce Canyon Lodge. They offer classic pizza, salads, and fries and offer you the opportunity to eat it on the rim of the Bryce Amphitheater! Whether you are ready to head outside the park to your campground or you’re staying inside the park for the night, this is the best place around.

Ruby’s Inn General Store If you need something, it’s here. Ruby’s General Store is the most well-stocked grocer/gift shop/gear supply for 40 miles. It’s just outside the park and if you can’t find it here, you probably don’t need it.
