2 nights
Pick up your van at our hub in Whitefish and head for West Glacier, where spectacular scenery awaits! Spend a peaceful first evening camped on the shores of Lake McDonald and then continue into the heart of the park on Glacier’s Going-to-the-Sun Road, famous for its magnificent engineering and sweeping views of the valley below. The next two days are packed with hiking, swimming and boating options in some of the country’s most pristine protected areas.
2 nights
Spent two nights in the stunning Many Glacier regions, located north of the Going-to-the-Sun Road, on the east side of the park. Sometimes called the “Switzerland of North America”, Many Glacier contains many of the park’s most popular trails. Enjoy two days of hiking, swimming, rafting and more, before heading even further North to Canada.

Cross the border into Canada and see just what our neighbors to the North have to offer for your last two nights on this itinerary! Included in your day-by-day itinerary:
“We booked the high-roof Moterra Van for a 5 night stay in Glacier National Park for our honeymoon, as we eloped last year. It was everything we hoped for and more! The convenience of a shower and toilet was awesome. We slept like babies on the memory foam mattress. The van was easy to drive and drove very smoothly. We used Mariah for itinerary planning—which was amazing; we had plenty of ideas, navigation tips and more. We will definitely be booking again!!”

Can I add or remove days from my Package Itinerary?
Absolutely! Additional planning days are charged at $200 a night, excluding the cost of any additional campground reservations required. If you decide to take nights off your existing package, we will deduct $200 for each night you remove (in addition to one less rental night in the campervan, obviously).
Can I add or swap to different destinations to my Package Itinerary?
You can add alternative destinations to your Package Itinerary, by adding on days to the beginning or end of your package or subbing out existing days. If you want to sub out up to 2 days of your Package Itinerary for an alternative destination that we already write itineraries for, you will not be charged for this change.
What does the process look like? Will I have a say in what we do?
After an initial consultation, the Destination Expert assigned to your itinerary will create an overview of what they believe would be the best itinerary for your group, based on your preferences. You will then have two Itinerary Edits of the overview, where you have the opportunity to ask questions, add or remove elements of your trip, and ensure that this itinerary reflects your ideal vacation. Once this has been finalised, our Destination Expert will book in all of your campgrounds & activities, and then work to build out your full itinerary with destination information, downloadable maps, reservation details and more. Any changes that are requested after the Overview are based on availability and will incur a charge of $100 an hour.
Can we book an itinerary but use our own van?
This will be subject to the availability of our itinerary writers and campgrounds. Contact us for more information!
Can we get a discount for having 3 pax on the family trip?
Absolutely! We include activities for 4 in the family package, so if you have less than 4 people, we are happy to remove the cost of activities for one person. Please talk to our staff for exact prices.
Can we have two vans travelling together?
We love multi-van itineraries! Because our package itineraries include the cost of things like campground reservations and activities for 4 people with our favorite providers, we are not able to split package costs between groups. If one or more vans additional vans want to join onto your itinerary package, we encourage them to book a van as soon as possible and then contact us. We will give them 30% off the cost of their Package itinerary, and will also take 30% off your itinerary charges! You also may receive a discount on your multi-van rental if you meet a certain number of days. Contact us to find out more!
What is the cancellation and booking policy for itineraries?
You will be charged 25% of the package cost upon booking, of which $500 is non-refundable. You will be charged for the remaining 75% of the package cost 45 days before your departure, after which no refunds will be issued. No refunds or other compensation will be offered in the event that inclement weather, fire or smoke conditions, or other natural causes lead to travel delays or prevent you from participating in scheduled activities. In the case of an official government shutdown that prevents you from traveling, we will work with you to find an alternative date for your itinerary!
What are the campgrounds like in this itinerary?
National park campgrounds are not known for being glamorous, but Yellowstone is a 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness, so being close to the action is typically desired by most guests. In Yellowstone, we are unable to choose your sites at the NPS campgrounds for you. Some guests choose to upgrade to Under Canvas in West Yellowstone for a night, leaving only 2 nights in Yellowstone’s NPS sites. In the Grand Tetons, we are able to pick your sites for you (depending on availability, of course), and the campgrounds are generally more roomy and scenic, compared to Yellowstone. Dispersed camping options are also available for those who want to roll the dice (we will book you a campground as a backup just in case) in the Grand Tetons.
