Camping with kids has always scared me a bit. I loved the idea of camping with my kids because I grew up camping with my family but with Ava’s health issues I have been a bit reluctant to go camping.

Take a luxury Mercedes Campervan on a romantic getaway through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Trust us to show you the favorites of each park while also bringing you to the lesser-known and better-kept secrets, allowing you to truly escape into the serenity of the wild west.

Yellowstone Lower Loop:
After picking up your van in Jackson, you will wind your way up past the Tetons and up into Yellowstone National Park. You will spend three nights in Yellowstone, the first national park in the world, amid its awe-inspiring ecosystem, wildlife, and incredible hydrothermal features. Visit the Upper Geyser Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Lake Yellowstone, and West Thumb Geyser Basin on the Yellowstone Lower Loop. Enjoy days full of hiking, wildlife spotting, gushing geysers, and incredible canyon vistas.

Grand Tetons:
Spend the next two nights in the stunning Grand Tetons. Though Yellowstone may have been the first national park, the Tetons are every local’s favorite. Canoe or Kayak on the incredible Jackson Lake, hike up Cascade Canyon between Teewinot and Mount Saint John, ferry across Jenny Lake’s pristine glacially-fed waters, spot wildlife along Moose-Wilson Road, and take a polar plunge into Phelps Lake from the Jumping Rock.

Remote Hot Springs:
For your final night in the van you will leave the hustle and bustle of the National Parks and head south of Jackson to a dispersed/remote camping location. Enjoy your last night camping along a peaceful Creek and awe-inspiring views of the Gros Ventre Mountains. Then top it all off with a trip to the hot spring just up the road for an after-dinner soak. Count the stars as you take in the serenity of the West!

Planning on going camping in the desert? Here are three tips for a successful trip in your campervan 🚐

1.)☀️ Wake up at first light, and never miss a sunset:
The sun is strongest in mid-day, so the mornings and evenings are the prime time for watching the sun dance across the painted sandstone. Afternoons will provide a perfect opportunity to park by the river and sneak in an afternoon siesta 🧉
