Head just a few hours south of San Francisco to the rugged cliffs of Big Sur. Spend six days along the coast hiking to picturesque viewpoints, lounging in hidden coves, dining atop majestic clifftops, and spotting wildlife by kayak. Allow us to secure sites at our favorite deluxe and off-the-beaten-path campgrounds as you sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. This trip is perfect as a family adventure, romantic getaway, relaxing vacation, or a hiker’s dream trip. Spend five nights under the stars in one of our Moterra campervans as we take the stress out of planning.

Monterey Bay
2 nights
Pick up your van in San Francisco, before driving south to Monterey Bay. Enjoy your afternoon exploring the charming and vibrant coastal town, wandering through Fisherman’s Wharf, dining on fresh seafood, and setting up a fire and s’mores at camp. Expect vista stops, wildlife spotting, beach combing, hiking, and more.
Cambria
1 night
Continue south down Highway 1 into the heart of Big Sur. Expect stunning views around every turn as you weave your way through the clifftops, stop for photos along Bixby Bridge, relax on Pfeiffer Beach, hike to McWay Falls, and eat at cliff top restaurants.
Morro Bay
2 nights
Spend your final two days paddle boarding, kayaking, or surfing in Morro Bay. Look out for wildlife along coastal trails, hike through ancient volcanic rock features, and enjoy a your final few serene nights under the stars.
