Hailing from Nashville, Tennessee, Vaughn grew up fueled by competitive sports and a love for the outdoors. Seeking a classroom without walls, she moved to Colorado during a gap year and never looked back. Since then, she has dedicated her career to mastering the landscapes of the American West.

Vaughn is a seasoned professional guide with a resume that spans the diverse terrains of California, Vermont, and Hawaii. However, it was the jagged peaks of the Grand Tetons that captured her heart, officially becoming her “favorite place on Earth.” After spending two summers guiding extensively through Yellowstone and the Tetons, she possesses an intimate knowledge of the hidden corners and local secrets that make these parks iconic.

When she isn’t crafting the perfect trip for Moterra guests, you’ll find Vaughn jumping into Phelps Lake, biking the Jackson pathways, or floating down Fish Creek with friends. She is passionate about translating her deep-seated love for the Tetons into unforgettable, seamless memories for every traveler.
