Take a luxury Mercedes Campervan on a romantic getaway through Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Trust us to show you the favorites of each park, while also bringing you to the lesser-known and better-kept secrets, allowing you to truly escape into the serenity of the wild west. This day-by-day personalized itinerary adds a romantic twist to Moterra’s signature campervan Yellowstone adventure. You’ll not only wind your way through the Lower Loop of Yellowstone National Park and hike your way up through the Tetons, but you’ll sip champagne in bubbling hot springs, soar by gondola to an evening affair, watch the sunset over the Tetons, and count the stars in some of the best remote camping sites around Jackson Hole.
6 Nights | 7 Days
Jackson Hole, Wyoming
1st June – 15th September
Pricing is reflective of groups 2 adults, in our Pop-Top Classic Campervans. Booking with a Pop-Top Plus or High Roof Campervan will incur a higher fee. This itinerary offering is based on the availability of our campervans and our Destination Experts and will close when we reach our client or campervan capacity for the season. This is typically 4-5 months before the summer begins.
After picking up your van in Jackson, you will wind your way up past the Tetons and up into Yellowstone National Park. You will spend 3 nights in Yellowstone, the first national park in the world, amid its awe-inspiring ecosystem, wildlife, and incredible hydrothermal features. Visit the Upper Geyser Basin, the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Lake Yellowstone, and West Thumb Geyser Basin on the Yellowstone Lower Loop. Enjoy days full of hiking, wildlife spotting, gushing geysers, and incredible canyon vistas.
Spend the next two nights in the stunning Grand Tetons. Though Yellowstone may have been the first national park, the Tetons are every local’s favorite. Canoe or Kayak on the incredible Jackson Lake, hike up Cascade Canyon between Teewinot and Mount Saint John, ferry across Jenny Lake’s pristine glacially-fed waters, spot wildlife along Moose-Wilson Road, and take a polar plunge into Phelps Lake from the Jumping Rock.
For your final night in the van you will leave the hustle and bustle of the National Parks and head south of Jackson to a dispersed remote camping location on a river. Enjoy a romantic three-course dinner for two, cooked by your own private camp chef at you campsite, before visiting an established hot spring close by for an after-dinner soak. Count the stars as you take in the serenity of the West!
Access your personal Itinerary on your desktop and on the road! We will provide a printed version when you arrive for nostalgia purposes as well.

“We loved our Yellowstone and Tetons trip with our Moterra van. The trip planning was very helpful in making the best use of our time, and taking the stress out of finding campsites. The van was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. Moterra staff was fabulous.”
– JEFF E.
“On our 6 night trip through the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, we played bocce, grilled steaks, slept under a down comforter, and we lacked for nothing! We flew in from Alabama and hit the road. Moterra masterfully planned a trip that that our 5 year old loved as much as we did. We’re already thinking about our next adventure with Moterra.”
– MELANY R.

Can I add or remove days from my Package Itinerary?
Absolutely! Additional planning days are charged at $200 a night, excluding the cost of any additional campground reservations required. If you decide to take nights off your existing package, we will deduct $200 for each night you remove (in addition to one less rental night in the campervan, obviously).
Can I add or swap to different destinations to my Package Itinerary?
You can add alternative destinations to your Package Itinerary, by adding on days to the beginning or end of your package or subbing out existing days. If you want to sub out up to 2 days of your Package Itinerary for an alternative destination that we already write itineraries for, you will not be charged for this change.
What does the process look like? Will I have a say in what we do?
After an initial consultation, the Destination Expert assigned to your itinerary will create an overview of what they believe would be the best itinerary for your group, based on your preferences. You will then have two Itinerary Edits of the overview, where you have the opportunity to ask questions, add or remove elements of your trip, and ensure that this itinerary reflects your ideal vacation. Once this has been finalised, our Destination Expert will book in all of your campgrounds & activities, and then work to build out your full itinerary with destination information, downloadable maps, reservation details and more. Any changes that are requested after the Overview are based on availability and will incur a charge of $100 an hour.
Can we book an itinerary but use our own van?
This will be subject to the availability of our itinerary writers and campgrounds. Contact us for more information!
Can we have two vans travelling together?
We love multi-van itineraries! Because our package itineraries include the cost of things like campground reservations and activities for 2 people with our favorite providers, we are not able to split package costs between groups. If one or more vans additional vans want to join onto your itinerary package, we encourage them to book a van as soon as possible and then contact us. We will give them 30% off the cost of their Package itinerary, and will also take 30% off your itinerary charges! You also may receive a discount on your multi-van rental if you meet a certain number of days. Contact us to find out more!
What is the cancellation and booking policy for itineraries?
You will be charged 25% of the package cost upon booking, of which $500 is non-refundable. You will be charged for the remaining 75% of the package cost 45 days before your departure, after which no refunds will be issued. No refunds or other compensation will be offered in the event that inclement weather, fire or smoke conditions, or other natural causes lead to travel delays or prevent you from participating in scheduled activities. In the case of an official government shutdown that prevents you from traveling, we will work with you to find an alternative date for your itinerary!
What are the campgrounds like in this itinerary?
National park campgrounds are not known for being glamorous, but Yellowstone is a 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness, so being close to the action is typically desired by most guests. In Yellowstone, we are unable to choose your sites at the NPS campgrounds for you. Some guests choose to upgrade to Under Canvas in West Yellowstone for a night, leaving only 2 nights in Yellowstone’s NPS sites. In the Grand Tetons, we are able to pick your sites for you (depending on availability, of course), and the campgrounds are generally more roomy and scenic, compared to Yellowstone. Your last night is a dispersed camping option, on a beautiful river and is typically significantly less crowded than the parks. More dispersed options are also available for those who want to roll the dice (we will book you a campground as a backup just in case) in the Grand Tetons.
What if we don’t want all of the included activities?
No worries! We would be happy to subtract the cost of the activities you do not want to book from our itinerary package price. Please speak to our staff for more information and to receive an exact quote.
